Manifesting your destiny, and a look at the box office

March 15th, 2010 at Mon, 15th, 2010 at 12:21 pm by Jennifer Morris

I saw a piece this morning on actor Hill Harper (“The Skulls” anyone?), who has started a foundation called Manifest Your Destiny. The foundation works to mentor kids in the realm of finances, providing them role models who have found professional success — an interesting take, in light of the current credit crisis. You can learn more about his foundation here.
Speaking of movie actors, Johnny Depp is proving his worth: According to Variety’s box office results, “Alice In Wonderland” took in $62 million in its second week at the box office, knocking Matt Damon’s “Green Zone,” which took in a modest $14.5 million in its debut this weekend, to No. 2. “Alice” has become the most successful film collaboration for Depp and director Tim Burton. But how will it fair against “The Bounty Hunter” (starring Butler and Aniston, natch) this weekend?
