If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, check out the friendly folks at the Kitsap County Woodcarvers’ 24th annual juried show this Saturday and Sunday, March 13 and 14. What’s Up met up with a few of the club’s members earlier this year, and learned a little about the art of woodcrafting. You can see photos from past shows on the club’s Web site. The show will take place at the Westside Improvement Club, 4109 West E Street, in Bremerton. It’s open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free. (Above is a photo of “Miss and Mischief,” from Longview’s Janet Kann, which took home three awards from the 2009 show.)
