Don’t forget: City holding public meetings in January

In the next two weeks, the City Council will begin reviewing the Shoreline Master Program update; various committees resume their work; and the Poulsbo Rotary Club meets in City Hall to discuss with the public their hope to bring a youth shelter to the city.

Jan. 2

- Poulsbo Civil Service Commission, 3-4 p.m., City Hall Council Chambers, 200 NE Moe St., Poulsbo.

Jan. 4

- Poulsbo Capital Improvement Plan Committee, 4-5 p.m., City Hall, 200 NE Moe St.

- Poulsbo Finance Committee, 5-7 p.m., City Hall, 200 NE Moe St. The committee considers matters related to the office of the city clerk, the finance department, city audits, personnel issues, and salaries and wages.

- Poulsbo City Council, 7-10 p.m., City Hall Council Chambers, 200 NE Moe St.

Jan. 5

- Poulsbo Port Commission, 7 p.m., multipurpose room on E Dock, 18809 Front St., Poulsbo.

Jan. 7

- Poulsbo Rotary Club 2:30 p.m., special meeting to discuss a new youth shelter, City Council chambers, 200 NE Moe St.

Jan. 9

- Community Pool Advisory Committee, 6:30 p.m., North Kitsap Community Pool classroom, 1881 NE Hostmark Ave., in Poulsbo.

- Kitsap County Board of Commissioners, 7 p.m., Commissiowners Chambers, 614 Division St., Port Orchard.

- Poulsbo Tree Board, 7-9 p.m., City Hall Council Chambers, 200 NE Moe St., Poulsbo.
